Chloé Capelle Mauger បានកោតសរសើរចំពោះកិច្ចការរបស់មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលឯកសារខេត្តព្រៃវែង ដែលបានផ្ដល់ភាពងាយស្រួលដល់សិស្សានុសិស្ស អាចស្វែងយល់ពីរបបខ្មែរក្រហម តាមរយៈ ទស្សនាផ្ទាំងរូបភាពពិព័រណ៍អចិន្ត្រៃយ៍ ទស្សនាខ្សែភាពយន្តឯកសារ អានសៀវភៅប្រវត្តិសាស្រ្ត ចូលរួមកម្មវិធីវេទិកាថ្នាក់រៀន ក៏ដូចជាមានអ្នកស្រាវជ្រាវដូចជារូបគាត់អាចមកទស្សនាឬស្វែងរកឯកសារបានយ៉ាងងាយស្រួល។
បន្ទាប់មក ក្រុមការងារបានចាក់បញ្ចាំងខ្សែភាពយន្តឯកសាររឿង «កុំស្មានបងភ្លេច ខ្មែរបាត់បង់តន្ត្រីរ៉ក់» ឱ្យ Chloé Capelle Mauger បានទស្សនា ដើម្បីបង្ហាញគាត់អំពីរបាំ ចម្រៀង និងប្រវត្តិនៃការចងក្រងបទចម្រៀង ព្រមទាំងចង់ឱ្យគាត់ស្វែងយល់អំពីសម្លៀកបំពាក់ដែលតន្ត្រីករ អ្នកចម្រៀង និងមន្ត្រីៗនាសម័យនោះស្លៀកពាក់។
ជាចុងក្រោយ Chloé បានអរគុណមកកាន់ក្រុមការងារមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលឯកសារកម្ពុជា ខេត្តព្រៃវែង ដែលបានទទួលស្វាគមន៍គាត់យ៉ាងកក់ក្តៅ ព្រមទាំងផ្តល់ឱ្យគាត់ នូវចំណេះដឹងជាច្រើនអំពីប្រវត្តិសាស្រ្តខ្មែរ និងការស្វែងយល់ពីសម្លៀកបំពាក់ប្រពៃណីខ្មែរ ហើយបើមានឱកាសលើកក្រោយ Chloé នឹងស្នើសុំមកទស្សនាការិយាល័យមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលឯកសារកម្ពុជា ខេត្តព្រៃវែងម្តងទៀត ជាពិសេស មកទស្សនាខ្សែភាពយន្តឯកសារ«កុំស្មានបងភ្លេច ខ្មែរបាត់បង់តន្ត្រីរ៉ក់» បន្ត រហូតដល់ចប់។ Chloé បានត្រឡប់ទៅវិញ នៅវេលាម៉ោង ៤ និង ០០ នាទីរសៀល។

At 2:00 PM on June 2, 2026, Prey Veng Documentation Center welcomed a French visitor named Chloé Capelle Mauger, a Master’s student majoring in Fashion Design. Her mission in Cambodia is to conduct research on traditional Khmer clothing. Chloé Capelle Mauger discussed potential locations for Hol (traditional Khmer silk) weaving in Prey Veng with the provincial DC-Cam team. As a result, the team recommended Prek Changkran Leu village (Prek Changkran commune, Sithor Kandal district, Prey Veng province) — a village highly renowned for its Hol weaving within the province. To facilitate her trip, the team contacted the village chief of Prek Changkran Leu, informed the Prek Changkran commune chief, requested direct contact phone numbers, and provided this information to Chloé for her later field research.
While waiting, another DC-Cam Prey Veng staff member introduced Chloé Capelle Mauger to the mission, work activities, and organizational goals of the provincial DC-Cam office. The staff also showed her the documents, books, and photo exhibitions available at the office. Chloé Capelle Mauger expressed particular interest in Khmer clothing styles ranging from the Sangkum Reastr Niyum era to the black uniforms of the Khmer Rouge regime, as well as the Krama (traditional scarves) and tire-tread sandals worn by the people and cadres during the Khmer Rouge period. The team also explained DC-Cam’s mission of educating the younger generation about Khmer Rouge history, emphasizing that it is vital for remembering and preventing genocide in Cambodia.
Chloé Capelle Mauger praised the work of Prey Veng Documentation Center for making it easily accessible for students to learn about the Khmer Rouge regime through permanent photo exhibitions, documentary screenings, history books, and classroom forums. She also appreciated that researchers like herself can easily visit and find documentation.
Following the discussion, the team screened the documentary film “Don’t Think I’ve Forgotten: Cambodia’s Lost Rock and Roll” for Chloé Capelle Mauger. This was to showcase the dances, songs, and the history of musical composition of that era, as well as to help her understand the clothing styles worn by musicians, singers, and officials at the time.
In conclusion, Chloé thanked the DC-Cam Prey Veng team for their warm welcome and for providing her with extensive knowledge of Khmer history and insights into traditional Khmer clothing. She mentioned that if she has the opportunity in the future, she would love to visit the Prey Veng Documentation Center again—especially to watch the rest of the “Don’t Think I’ve Forgotten: Cambodia’s Lost Rock and Roll” documentary until the end. Chloé departed at 4:00 PM.
