Bak Nim Community Healing Center
On Wednesday of October 21, 2026, the staff members at Bak Nim Community Healing Center comprising Phat Ponlok and Din Ratha continued their daily activity duties carried out environment and grounds development and agricultural cultivation within the Center’s compounds. The main purpose of carrying out ongoing activities is focused on arranging and maintaining the office, organizing proper seating and reading spaces for access to historical documents and research study, and caring for blooming and fertilized rice fields to short-term agricultural productivity in the Center’s surrounding areas.
Paticularily, these efforts have effectively enhanced the Center’s landscape and fresh environment, welcoming, and comfortable atmosphere for the public such as students or researchers who are coming to visit, to read Cambodian historical books, and to conduct research access.
Bak Nim Community Healing Center serves not only as a gathering space to listen to and share the lived experiences of Khmer Rouge’s survivors, but also as a location for research access, historical memory preservation, psychological healing, and community development. All over integrated activity, the Center actively contributes to fostering the well-being and livelihoods of Khmer Rouge’s survivors within their local community.
