On October 8, 2026, four students (three females) from Hun Sen Pramaoy Primary and High School visited the Veal Veng Reconciliation Center to tour the facility and request to read history books on the Khmer Rouge regime (1975–1979) archived at the center.
The team at the Veal Veng Reconciliation Center welcomed the students, provided an overview of the collection, and guided them to read the stories of Khmer Rouge survivors published in Searching for the Truth magazine. Finally, the team encouraged the students to frequently converse with their grandparents about their daily lives and personal experiences during the Khmer Rouge era.

Heak Rachana (Female): “I am very delighted to visit and take photos in the flower garden in front of the Veal Veng Reconciliation Center. Furthermore, I read brief stories of survivors from the Khmer Rouge regime in Searching for the Truth magazine to expand my historical knowledge for my studies. In the past, my grandmother told me that when she lived in Bakan District, Pursat Province, the Khmer Rouge starved her almost to death. This makes me even more eager to learn the stories of other grandfathers and grandmothers who lived through the Khmer Rouge regime.”
Heak Raksa (Female): “I am very happy to come and read books at the Veal Veng Reconciliation Center. I had never known about the events that took place during the Khmer Rouge era before. However, after the staff at the Veal Veng Reconciliation Center guided us to read the personal accounts of the elders in Searching for the Truth magazine, I gained valuable insight into how they lived and survived during the Khmer Rouge regime.”

នៅថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ សិស្សានុសិស្សសាលាបឋមសិក្សា និងវិទ្យាល័យហ៊ុនសែនប្រម៉ោយចំនួន៤នាក់ (ស្រី៣នាក់) បានមកមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផ្សាះផ្សាវាលវែងដើម្បីទស្សនា និងស្នើសុំអានសៀវភៅប្រវត្តិសាស្រ្តខ្មែរក្រហម (១៩៧៥-១៩៧៩) ដែលមានតម្កល់នៅក្នុងមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផ្សះផ្សាវាលវែង។ ក្រុមការងារមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផ្សះផ្សាវាលវែងបានទទួលស្វាគមន៍សិស្សានុសិស្ស រៀបរាប់អំពីសៀវភៅ និងបានណែនាំឲ្យសិស្សានុសិស្សអានសាច់រឿងរបស់អ្នករស់រានមានជីវិតពីរបបខ្មែរក្រហមនៅក្នុងទស្សនាវដ្ដីស្វែករកការពិត។ ចុងក្រោយក្រុមការងារបានផ្ដាំផ្ញើឲ្យសិស្សានុសសិស្សឧស្សាហ៍ជជែកលេងជាមួយលោកតា លោកយាយរបស់ខ្លួនអំពីការរស់នៅ និងបទពិសោធន៍ជីវិតដែលពួកគាត់ធ្លាប់ជួបប្រទះ និងឆ្លងកាត់ក្នុងរបបខ្មែរក្រហម។
ចំណាប់អារម្មណ៍៖
១/ ហៀក រចនា ភេទស្រី ខ្ញុំមានអារម្មណ៍សប្បាយរីករាយណាស់ដែលបានចូលមកទស្សនា និងថតរូបលេងនៅសួនផ្កាខាងមុខមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផ្សះផ្សាវាលវែង។ មិនតែប៉ុណ្ណោះ ខ្ញុំបានអានសាច់រឿងរបស់អ្នករស់រានមានជីវិតពីរបបខ្មែរក្រហមជាសង្ខេបៗនៅក្នុងទស្សនាវដ្ដីស្វែករកការពិតដើម្បីជួយបន្ថែមចំណេះដឹងប្រវត្តិសាស្រ្តដល់ការសិក្សារៀនសូត្ររបស់ខ្ញុំ។ កន្លងមកលោកយាយរបស់ខ្ញុំធ្លាប់និយាយប្រាប់ថា កាលគាត់នៅរស់នៅក្នុងស្រុកបាកាន ខេត្តពោធិ៍សាត់ គាត់ត្រូវបានខ្មែរក្រហមបង្អត់អាហារស្ទើរតែបាត់បង់ជីវិត។ មូលហេតុនេះធ្វើឲ្យខ្ញុំកាន់តែចង់ដឹងនូវរៀងរ៉ាវរបស់លោកយាយ លោកតាដទៃទៀតដែលបានឆ្លងកាត់ក្នុងរបបខ្មែរក្រហម។
២/ ហៀក រក្សា ភេទស្រី ខ្ញុំសប្បាយចិត្តណាស់ដែលបានមកអានសៀវភៅនៅមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផ្សះផ្សាវាលវែង។ ខ្ញុំមិនធ្លាប់បានដឹងរឿងរ៉ាវក្នុងរបបខ្មែរក្រហមនោះទេ។ ប៉ុន្តែបន្ទាប់ពីបងៗក្រុមការងារមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផ្សះផ្សាវាលវែងបានណែនាំឲ្យអានសាច់រឿងរបស់លោកយាយ លោកតា នៅក្នុងទស្សនាវដ្ដីស្វែងរកការពិតបានធ្វើឲ្យខ្ញុំបានទទួលបានចំណេះដឹងពីជីវិតរស់នៅរបស់លោកយាយ លោកតានៅក្នុងរបបខ្មែរក្រហម។
