Walking Trails along the Mekong River at Borei O’Svay-Sen Chey District to Boost Eco-tourism
On March 2, 2026, Mr. Phan Yuth, District Chieft of Borei O’Svay-Sen Chey, led a joint task force to open a new pedestrian path along the Mekong River in O’Svay village. The new pedestrian path aims to beautify the community along the Mekong River and attract more tourists for the benefit of the villagers.
The initial phase of the pedestrian path has the following specifications: Dimensions: Approximately 3 meters wide and 570 meters long. Location: It runs from The Physical Legacy of the Sangkum Reastr Niyum King Father-Queen Mother (Borei O’Svay-Sen Chey) to the Ramsar Environmental Kios, located across the Preah Sihanouk Reachea and Her Majesty the Queen Mother Norodom Monineath’s Primary School and Hospital.
