PREAH SARAK MUNTI
(DC-Cam, a Border Peace Center for Asean)
The Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam) is proud to establish its new Center for Peace in Southeast Asia, the Preah Sarak Munti. The Center sits on the pristine grounds of the Royal residence in Stung Treng province, Cambodia, which is located near the border with Laos. The Center was rebuilt in honor of the late King Father and the Queen Mother of Cambodia and drawing upon world leaders’ efforts in the region, the Center aims to support peacebuilding efforts along the Cambodia-Thailand border and other areas of the Southeast Asian region. The Center will conduct research into the history of conflicts in the region to identify lessons learned, best practices, and insights that contribute to intergovernmental dialogue and public outreach activities conducive to supporting peace throughout the ASEAN region.
QML ARCHITECTS: TITH Satchavong, LIM Vansoliza, LEANG Chanthy.
