នៅថ្ងៃទី១៦ និង១៧ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ក្រុមការងារមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផ្សះផ្សាវាលវែងនៃមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលឯកសារកម្ពុជា បានចុះទៅសួរសុខទុក្ខ និងសម្ភាសន៍ប្រជាជនភៀសសឹកដែលជាអ្នករស់រានមានជីវិតពីរបបខ្មែរក្រហម និងកូនចៅរបស់អ្នករស់រានមានជីវិតដែលកំពុងស្នាក់នៅមណ្ឌលជនភៀសសឹកក្នុងសាលាវិទ្យាល័យហ៊ុនសែនប្រម៉ោយ ស្ថិតក្នុងឃុំប្រម៉ោយ ស្រុកវាលវែង ខេត្តពោធិ៍សាត់។ ជនភៀសសឹកទាំងនោះមានទីលំនៅភូមិភូមិឯកភាព ភូមិឧបសម្ព័ន្ធស្ទឹងមេទឹក និងភូមិកណ្ដាល ឃុំថ្មដា ស្រុកវាលវែង ដែលជាតំបន់ព្រំដែនកម្ពុជា-ថៃ និងត្រូវបានទាហានថៃដាក់លួសបន្លាហ៊ំព័ទ្ធយកដី ដាក់ទូកុងទឺន័រ បន្ទាប់ពីមានកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងឈប់បាញ់កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែឆ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥។
នៅព្រឹកព្រលឹមថ្ងៃទី០៨ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ប្រជាជនរស់នៅក្នុងភូមិសាស្ត្រឃុំថ្មដា ស្រុកវាលវែង បានចាប់ផ្តើមជម្លៀសខ្លួនចាកចេញពីផ្ទះសម្បែងរៀងៗខ្លួនមកកាន់ទីតាំងមានសុវត្ថិភាពនៅមណ្ឌលជនភៀសសឹកក្នុងសាលាវិទ្យាល័យហ៊ុន សែន ប្រម៉ោយ និងវត្តប្រម៉ោយ ក្នុងឃុំប្រម៉ោយ ស្រុកវាលវែង ខេត្តពោធិ៍សាត់។ បន្ទាប់ពីមានកិច្ចព្រមព្រៀងឈប់បាញ់កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែឆ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ជនភៀសសឹកភាគច្រើននៅក្នុងឃុំថ្មដាបានវិលត្រឡប់ទៅលំនៅដ្ឋានវិញ។ ចំណែកជនភៀសចំនួន៧៣គ្រួសារ ដែលមានផ្ទះសម្បែងត្រូវបានខូចខាតដោយគ្រាប់ផ្លោងរបស់ទាហានថៃ ការដាក់លួសបន្លាហ៊ំព័ទ្ធយកដី ផ្ទះ និងមួយចំនួនទៀតមានផ្ទះស្ថិតនៅកៀក និងទល់មុខនឹងទាហានថៃដាក់លួសបន្លានោះ បានបន្តស្នាក់នៅក្នុងមណ្ឌលជនភៀសសឹកក្នុងសាលាវិទ្យាល័យហ៊ុនសែនប្រម៉ោយរហូតមកដល់បច្ចុប្បន្ន។ នៅថ្ងៃទី១៦ និង១៧ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦នេះ ក្រុមការងារមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផ្សះផ្សាវាលវែងបានសួរសុខទុក្ខ និងសម្ភាសន៍ជាមួយក្រុមគ្រួសារអ្នករស់រានមានជីវិតពីរបបខ្មែរក្រហម និងប្រជាជនភៀសសឹកចំនួន៤នាក់(ស្រី២នាក់)។ រឿងរ៉ាវអ្នករស់រានមានជីវិតពីរបបខ្មែរក្រហម និងប្រជាជនភៀសសឹកមានដូចខាងក្រោម៖
On September 16–17, 2026, the team from the Veal Veng Reconciliation Center of the Documentation Center of Cambodia visited and interviewed displaced persons—both Khmer Rouge survivors and their descendants—staying at the temporary shelter in Hun Sen Pramoy High School, located in Pramoy Commune, Veal Veng District, Pursat Province.
These displaced persons reside in Ekpheap village, Steung Metoek sub-village, and Kandal village in Thmor Da Commune, Veal Veng District, along the Cambodia–Thailand border—an area where Thai soldiers set up barbed wire to seize land and placed shipping containers following a ceasefire agreement reached on December 27, 2025.
In the early morning of December 8, 2025, residents of Thmor Da Commune began evacuating their homes to safety at the displacement centers located at Hun Sen Pramoy High School and Pramoy Pagoda in Pramoy Commune, Veal Veng District, Pursat Province.
Following the December 27, 2025 ceasefire agreement, most displaced villagers in Thmor Da returned home. However, 73 families whose homes were damaged by Thai artillery shelling, encroached upon by barbed wire, or located directly adjacent to and facing the wire barricades have continued to stay at the Hun Sen Pramoy High School shelter up to the present.
On September 16–17, 2026, the Veal Veng Reconciliation Center team met with and interviewed four individuals (two of whom are women) from families of Khmer Rouge survivors and displaced persons. Their stories are detailed below:
