At 3:00 PM on July 8, 2026, four students (including two girls) from Hun Sen Pramaoy Primary School visited the Veal Veng Reconciliation Center to tour the facility and request to read a history of Democratic Kampuchea (1975-1979) archived there. Having some free time from school, the students decided to come together to read a history of Cambodian books especially The Khmer Rouge history. The Veal Veng Reconciliation Center team welcomed the students, introduced the books, and helped explain a few points to them.
នៅវេលាម៉ោង៣:០០នាទីល្ងាច ថ្ងៃទី៨ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ មានសិស្សានុសិស្សមកពីសាលាបឋមសិក្សាហ៊ុនសែនប្រម៉ោយ ចំនួន៤នាក់(ស្រី២នាក់) មកមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផ្សាះផ្សាវាលវែងដើម្បីចូលទស្សនា និងស្នើសុំអានសៀវភៅប្រវត្តិសាស្រ្តខ្មែរក្រហម (១៩៧៥ – ១៩៧៩) ដែលមានតម្កល់នៅក្នុងមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផ្សះផ្សាវាលវែង។ សិស្សានុសិស្សឆ្លៀតពេលទំនេរពីការសិក្សាក្នុងសាលា បានបបួលគ្នាមកអានសៀវភៅប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រកម្ពុជា ជាពិសេសប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រខ្មែរក្រហម។ ក្រុមការងារមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលផ្សះផ្សាវាលវែងបានទទួលស្វាគមន៍សិស្សានុសិស្ស រៀបរាប់អំពីសៀវភៅ និងបានជួយពន្យល់អំពីចំណុចមួយចំនួនដល់សិស្សានុសិស្ស។
Observations:
• The students enjoyed reading the books and exploring the pictures inside them.
• The students showed interest in the history books of Democratic Kampuchea (1975-1979).
• The students remained quiet while reading.
