“… U.S. ACTIONS AGAINST THAILAND.”
From what I understand, the US President noted his impression that the Thai had initiated (or at least were the latest initiators of) the current conflict, and unless the US administration moderates the President’s informal stated position, it would appear that Thailand has convinced the US that it would begin to re-pursue peace in accordance with its talks with the US President Trump.
The unstated point to this is: If Thailand continues to pursue an aggressive military campaign against Cambodia, this would further cement its noncompliance with its international commitments (and commitments to the US) to a ceasefire, which would further raise the stakes for U.S. actions against Thailand.
