In June 2025 Andrea Campolucci & Eleonora Lischetti, Italian film makers, sought collaboration with Anlong Veng Peace Center as they show their great interest in shooting a documentary episode in dedication of the legacy of the Khmer Rouge genocide. The episode would involve the collection of survivors’ testimonies, especially child soldiers and Anlong Veng Peace Center team.
Andrea Campolucci, co-founder of Occhi sul Mondo, emphasized that “While this first episode is focused on the Khmer Rouge legacy, Occhi sul Mondo as a platform engages with a wide range of cultural, historical, and human stories from Cambodia and the rest of the world. Our long-term vision is to bring visibility to often unheard voices, through ethical and respectful storytelling.”
In response to such a request, Anlong Veng Peace Center team cordially welcomed them and arranged some interviews for them in villages. Both of them were also provided with the opportunity to visit some of the fourteen historical sites in Anlong Veng.
Andrew and Eleonora are interviewing villagers for their documentary episode in relation to the Khmer Rouge legacy and former child soldiers.
