A young woman from Takaev sent to Peuan's 6 January Hospital in early 1978 said she never witnessed any ill treatment of medics, although she feared this was happening.  She added that food was better at the hospital than in her village.   In the countryside, she said, the rainy season ration was gruel, but the hospital had a proper ration.[1]
